Hand-Weaving Experience
At the Minsah Crafts Museum, you can actually experience weaving, which is the final process of making Yaeyama Minsah-ori textiles. You can choose from coasters that can be finished in about 30 minutes to full-fledged table centerpieces and tapestries! The instructors will carefully instruct you, so even those new to weaving can enjoy the experience. Why don’t you make your own “Minsah-ori textile” as a special souvenir of your trip?

・Children in the lower grades of elementary school require the accompaniment of a guardian. ＊Preschool children are not accepted.
・Colors and designs of the artwork at the time of the workshop may differ from those of the sample artwork.
・The above fee includes the cost of materials and consumption tax.
・Artwork can be picked up at a later date. Only available for shipping to residents in Japan.
・For the recycled yarn course, items are available on the same day.
・In the event of a typhoon, if a storm warning is issued, the weaving experience may be closed, and advance reservations may be canceled.
